Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

Cattery guidance

1. What is a cattery? A cattery is a specialized facility that provides temporary accommodation and care for cats. At Cattery London, we offer premium boarding services for cats, ensuring they receive the highest level of care and attention while their owners are away.

2. How do I make a reservation for my cat? Making a reservation for your cat at Cattery London is simple and convenient. You can contact us via phone, email, or through our website's booking form to inquire about availability and schedule your cat's stay. We recommend booking in advance, especially during peak seasons, to ensure availability.

3. What vaccinations are required for boarding my cat? To ensure the health and safety of all our guests, we require cats to be up-to-date on vaccinations, including rabies and FVRCP (feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, and panleukopenia). Proof of vaccination from a licensed veterinarian is required upon check-in. Also each Cat has to be up-to-date with flea-treatment.

4. What should I pack for my cat's stay at the cattery? We recommend packing your cat's regular food to maintain their dietary routine during their stay. You may also include any medications, special treats, toys, or bedding that will help your cat feel comfortable and at home. Our family is happy to accommodate any special requests or requirements.

5. Can I visit my cat during their stay at the cattery? While we understand the desire to visit your cat during their stay, we find that it can often disrupt their routine and cause unnecessary stress. However, we provide regular updates and photos throughout your cat's stay, so you can stay connected and informed about their well-being.

6. How often will my cat receive attention and care while at the cattery? Your cat's health and happiness are our top priorities. Our family members provide attentive care and personalized attention to each cat in our care. From feeding and grooming to playtime and cuddles, we ensure your cat receives the love and attention they deserve throughout their stay.

7. What if my cat has special medical needs or requires medication? We understand that some cats may have special medical needs or require medication during their stay. We are Cat Breeders so  experienced and trained to administer medications and provide specialized care as needed. Prior to your cat's stay, we'll discuss their specific requirements and ensure they receive the appropriate care and attention.

8. Is there a minimum age requirement for cats staying at the cattery? For the safety and well-being of all our guests, we require cats to be at least four months old and fully weaned before they can stay at the cattery.

9. What measures are in place to ensure the safety and security of the cats staying at the cattery? At Cattery London, we take the safety and security of our guests very seriously.
